It's recess for KidFusion, and we're going to play games and have fun!

We'll race, and tag, and pretend to be animals. We'll roar and spin and

use up lots of energy! With Krysta.

Marker Creativity

Everyone is an artist, and we're going to express it! For this hour,

we'll show what we can do with markers, crayons, and paper. All designs

will remain the property of the artists. Come and make castles and dragons

and space outposts and planets and stars and... on and on and on. With

Mel and Marc Rucinski.

Swimming

Vikki Coven will be our lifeguard as we spend an hour playing in the hotel

pool. Please escort your child(ren) to the pool area in their swimsuits.

Stories & Songs

It's storytime at KidFusion, and we have two special guests who will make

this fun. Becca Price will read stories from some of her favorite picture

books, guaranteed to keep you listening. And Devon McDaniel with lead

camp songs that KidFusion-ites can act and sing, too!

Yes, we're bringing back cardboard forts again this year. Robyn Rissell

and Mel & Marc Rucinski will wield tape and cutters while kids create

tunnels, towers, and tombs for themselves and each other. Special

features can be added with markers, as well. Come along and be prepared

to share in a big fort!

KidFilk

The filkers will give their traditional performance of songs for KidFusion

members. Come and listen and watch as they charm us with their voices and instruments. There will be musical stories fit for all ages.

Balloon Beings

Pat Warehall will amaze us again this year with his fun balloons. Come

prepared to blow up balloons and learn to make balloon swords of your own.

All swordfights will be strictly supervised! You will also get the chance

to make balloon aliens and anything else you can think up. This event

will take place in the KidFusion suite, so please be prepared to escort

your child(ren) to the new room.

Giant Splat

Dennis will adapt the board game "Splat" to its life-sized equivalent.

KidFusion members will throw dice, move around the giant board, and

*splat* play-dough bugs that get in their way. This event will take place

in the Fairmont room. Please be prepared to escort your child(ren) to the

Fairmont room. This may be a messy event.

2nd annual Pizza Party!

Again this year, we will have a pizza party for kids. There will be a

separate charge per child for the pizza. There will be dancing music for

those who finish eating early. This event will take place in the

KidFusion suite. This event is open to all children: KidFusion membership

is not required.

The pajama party will be held directly after the Pizza Party. We will

watch movies and eat popcorn until parents pick us up after the dance.

Kids may be dropped off in comfy clothes or pajamas for this relaxing

event. This event is open to KidFusion members and non-members alike, and a separate fee will be charged per child to cover the cost of the day care professionals.

Special notes:

Bathroom breaks - I highly encourage parents to provide the kids with

bathroom breaks between workshops. This will enable them to enjoy the

full workshop. The closest bathrooms to the Fairmont Room are near the

elevators. The KidFusion suite will have its own bathroom.
