Hi, I'm Dot. They say I'm the weigh a pie cat. What's that about? It's usually when I'm at the top of this great burgundy tower in mom's room.
As you can tell from my picture, I'm pretty round by nature. The vet says I'm too fat and need to lose weight, so mom and dad have been giving me increasingly less food all the time. (I'm starving to death!) Mom feels pretty guilty about the whole thing; she believes in fat acceptance, after all, and if dieting is bad for humans in the long run, then it should be bad for cats, too. (Or so she thinks. I'm not going to argue with her.) The problem is that they don't let us outside, so I don't get a lot of exercise. Something about fleas. But what do I know? I've never seen a flea. I've never been outside!
So we're looking for a good exercise program for an indoor cat, so that even if I'm fat by nature, I can still be healthy. If you can think of anything that might help us out, you can e-mail me. I'll pass the information on to mom and dad. Thanks!
On a different note, I'm collecting Web documents that pertain to my name. Do you know that if you do an Alta Vista search on my name, you come up with more than 200,000 pages?
