Packing and Spending

Yesterday, I delivered my cat, Minou, to my cousin for him to look after her while I'm gone. She's been a great companion and I'm really going to miss her therapeutic presence. This is definitely one of the negative things about going away for a year or two.

My life lately has been packing, more packing, and spending money like it's water. I'm getting tired of running around like an elephant that's lost its nose. Only 9 days and then I will be safe and secure in an airplane headed for Tokyo. Tokyo will probably be another frantic runaround but at least I know that the orientation is only three days long and then I'll be headed to my home for the next little while.

I really hate packing.
