Hee hee, I'm giddy. I have the engine ready to come out - everything disconnected & off and stacked in a corner, and the poor lil' thing looks positively NEKKID. I'm covered in grease & oil & coolant, and I feel GREAT!

[Hope eyes the door, wondering if the men in white with the comfy jacket and the wraparound sleeves are here yet...]

Tomorrow morning, I can't wait, I get to take out the engine (with the help of Erik) and ferry it off to Chelsea Motorcycle Supply to see if indeed the welding can do the trick.

And - perfect timing - I just got the bell from Pops (it's a biker superstition - here's more details on the power of the Bell to ward off Evil Road Spirits), so's I can put 'er on right, after I've cleaned up 'Angel's nether regions. ;)
