Subject: Elements - Water

Weeds outside my window whisper secret things
A dry, raspy sound like devils' wings
Seek the throes of pleasure; bear the rack of pain
Walk the lonely path of loss and gain
Hope is an oasis; despair's like burning sand
Desire is a mirage within my plans

Lord of lighting, gods of thunder
Crops are dying, bring us water
Under shadows of vulture wings, we raise our arms, our voices ring
We take all that we hold dear and sacrifice it to our fear
We lift our eyes up to the sky as massive thunderheads roll by
What we can't rule or ride we call our foe and cast aside
Is this really what you wish? Your own heart in a dish?
You take all that you hold dear and sacrifice it to your fear

Come the air, master of movement - breathe unto me
Come the water, mistress of changes - drink unto me
Come the earth, mistress of matter - eat unto me
Come the fire, master of brightness - shine unto me

Weeds outside my window whisper secret things
A dry, raspy sound like devils' wings
