O Freya, thou lovely bright Goddess of the North
O lovelier than any queen upon the Earth
Fair jewel that shines within the crown of all my ancestry
Now promises thy daughter heart and hand to thee
I swear by Brisingamen and by thy holy name
By all the runes on stone and tree that stands in Rigmor's land
That never thy daughter shall forsake thee!
