Subject: Wheel of the Year

We turn the wheel at Yuletide at the birthing of the Light.
Although the night is dark and long, we dream of summer bright.
We dream of summer bright, good folk, and blessed may ye be.
Both Mother, Maid and Ancient Crone through all eternity.

We turn the wheel on Brigid's Day and joyously we sing
To praise Her inspiration, our offerings we bring
	Our offerings we bring, etc.

We turn the wheel at Lady Day for now the Spring is here
We put our winter cares away all for another year.
	All for another year, etc.

We turn the wheel at Beltane at the crowning of the Spring.
Come dance around and leap the fire and see what passion brings.
And see what passion brings, etc.

We turn the wheel at Lithatide when the earth is clothed in green
The Lady and the Lord unite with love the two between.
With love the two between, etc.

We turn the wheel at Lughnasadh when first fruits on the vine
We bake the bread and praise the crops with feasts and flowing wine.
With feasts and flowing wine, etc.

We turn the wheel at Harvest Home as we reap what we have sowed
We thank the Mother for her gifts, for the bounty She has bestowed.
For the bounty She has bestowed, etc.

We turn the wheel at Samhain at the waning of the year;
Although the dead are close at hand, there's nothing for to fear.
There's nothing for to fear, etc.

The seasons come and the seasons go with the turning of the wheel.
So keep your hearts and minds all open to what they may reveal.
To what they may reveal, etc.
