- lived in apartment on bottom floor
- very industrial area, soot was 1" thick on window sills

Born abt. 1905 in Springfield, MN
Family farm - grew corn, no indoor plumbing until after 1957
Became a sheet metal worker
Married (1st) in Springfield, MN
- Son Eugene (Gene) SCHWINGHAMER
  Born abt. 1930
- Son Reed (Bill) SCHWING (changed name)
  Born abt. 1932
  Married Dottie
  Both moved to Flagstaff, AZ (also John) abt. 1993
Moved to Milwaukee after 1st wife died (abt. 1947)

  - paraplegic man
  - owned a store in Oshkosh, WI
  - she had a partial hysterectomy (1/2 of each ovary) - thought she 
couldn't have kids
  - he cheated on her, she divorced him
  Married (2nd) Joseph in Milwaukee
  Died abt. 1982 (in Milwaukee, Waukeshaw or West Allis)
Lutheran - converted before marrying Joseph
Worked as a computer operator moving switches
Wanted to work at home - got restaurant: "Hawley Grill" abt. 1950

2 brothers - both have died
  - Lester ZIEBELL
    kids - Richard (b. abt. 1945) and Ronnie (b. abt. 1946)
  - Milton ZIEBELL
    had a son
    moved south, got married
    owned a movie theater and other businesses

  - Dorothy (?) died of TB? young

- died before 1957 (at 56) of a stroke 
- Bernice stayed home to care for mother (didn't finish highschool)
Father: died abt. 1953
- remarried after Bernice - no children
